Actor Adeniyi Johnson of Nollywood wrote a thank-you note on Instagram regarding the amount of followers he has on the platform.
He wrote that the photo-sharing app had maintained his account for four years with daily followers, which decreased his engagements. As a result, his following has decreased from 2.1 million to 2 million.
He appreciated them for their retrogressiveness and hailed them for being too much.
“My dearly beloved Instagram, after holding my account for four years as having 2 million followers despite having followers every day and reducing my engagements to what only you and I can see. You decided to take me to 2.1 million by May ending and now I’m back to 2 million. This is just to appreciate you for your retrogressiveness!! You too much!!
