South Africa to host the U-20 AFCON in 2025

South Africa will host the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in January 2025, as reported by DAILY POST.

According to SCORENigeria, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has granted South Africa the rights to host the tournament.

It’s worth noting that South Africa last hosted the competition 13 years ago, when Nigeria claimed victory by defeating Senegal in the final.

To qualify for the tournament in South Africa in 2025, the Flying Eagles must first succeed in the WAFU B qualifying tournament, which will take place in Togo next month.

Last year, the Flying Eagles secured third place at the U-20 AFCON held in Egypt.
