Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly becoming frustrated with the disciplinary issues exhibited by star winger Vinicius Junior. Although Vinicius is one of the team’s most influential players, his behavior on the field has drawn scrutiny from both Ancelotti and his teammates.
Despite a strong start to the season, with three goals and six assists, Vinicius has become the second most-booked player in La Liga after just seven matches, prompting Ancelotti to engage in discussions with the Brazilian about these concerns. However, according to Sport, these talks have not produced the desired outcome.
“The rules have changed, and we must adapt to them. We need to minimize protests and similar actions. It’s neither fair nor unfair; we just have to adjust,” Ancelotti stated.
Ancelotti is also worried that Vinicius’s attitude may negatively affect the rest of the squad, as other players have started to accumulate ‘unnecessary’ bookings. So far this La Liga season, Ancelotti’s team has received 15 yellow cards and one red card, which he finds unacceptable.
