‘King of Afrobeat’, fans celebrate Davido as he clocks 31 years today

Some fans and lovers of Grammy Awards-nominated artiste, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, have taken to social media to pour encomium on the superstar on the occasion of his 31st birthday anniversary.

The ‘Unavailable’ crooner, who is married to Chioma Rowland, was born in Atlanta, United States, on November 21, 1992, to Osun State business mogul, Adedeji Adeleke and late university lecturer, Veronica Adeleke.

To commemorate Davido’s special day, some fans of the artiste have taken to the popular social media platform, X to wish him well.

Celebrating the artiste’s birthday, popular skitmaker, OGB cultist tweeted, “Happy birthday @davido 001 🐐, Thankyou for saving Afrobeat and single-handedly taking it international .  🙌🏾”

Also celebrating the artist, an X user @MissRozzaPepper wrote , “Happy birthday to the pioneer of modern Afrobeats. Thank you for blessing our ears with beautiful music all these years. @davido ❤️”
