Al-Ittihad propose a lucrative €11 million salary to Lookman.

Saudi club Al-Ittihad has made a substantial offer to Atalanta for forward Ademola Lookman, reportedly proposing an annual salary close to €11 million, according to PUNCH Sports Extra. Transfer expert Rudy Galetti indicates that Al-Ittihad has also tabled a €30 million transfer fee, with negotiations ongoing between the clubs.

Lookman recently achieved acclaim for Atalanta by scoring a hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final against previously undefeated Bayer Leverkusen, solidifying his status as the match’s standout performer. Despite his recent success, the 26-year-old is not in a rush to depart from Atalanta or European football, though Al-Ittihad hopes to entice him with significant financial incentives.

Joining Atalanta from Leipzig in 2022 for €9.35 million, Lookman has impressed with 17 goals and 10 assists in 45 appearances last season. His performances have garnered interest from prominent clubs across Europe, including Bayern Munich and Juventus in Serie A, as well as several top Premier League sides.

Lookman’s contract with Atalanta runs until 2026, and while he remains content at the club, he remains open to exploring his options ahead of the upcoming season.
