Gov Ododo is God-sent — KGCSDA GM

The General Manager, Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Mallam Dauda Momoh has described the state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo as God-sent to the poor and vulnerable in the State.

He made the disclosure in Lokoja on Monday after the Agency bagged a Ward of Excellence For Promoting Rural Community Development.

The award was presented by the Advocacy For Youth Leadership in Nigeria at a programme held at the NUJ Press Centre in Lokoja.

The General disclosed that the Agency has never had it so good in terms of funding and release of funds for community projects as it currently does, praised the administration of Gov Ododo for giving it matching orders to reach out to the poor and vulnerable in the society.

“We presently have a matching orders from Gov Ododo to reach out to the poor and vulnerable in the society to carry out community projects in 70 Communities in the State”.

“We have since commenced the projects in 50 communities in earnest. We will be flagging off another 20 in other communities this week.

“We are working assiduously to ensure that we meet up with the date of delivery. Thus far, Gov. Ododo is God sent and we have never had it so good in the agency like we currently do.

“The Governor has not only granted approval for the funding of the projects, he has gone ahead with the release of the projects. We are truly grateful and proud of him. His passion in reaching out to the poor and vulnerable in the State is unprecedented”.

The General Manager assured of the readiness of the Agency to ensure that the mission envisioned by the present administration of Gov Ododo for the poor and vulnerable in the society is realised.
