Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, has addressed the possibility of sharing penalty duties with Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has emphasized that he has no issues sharing penalty duties with teammate Vinicius Jr.

Mbappe made the statement after Vinicius handed him the second penalty during their 2-0 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday. This goal brought Mbappe’s tally to three goals in two matches.

Vinicius Jr. had initially opened the scoring from the penalty spot following Sergio Gómez’s handball. When the Brazilian was fouled in the box in the 75th minute, he chose to give Mbappe the opportunity to take the second penalty.

Speaking to Real Madrid TV, Mbappe said, “[Vinícius and I] always try to find each other in the game and in training to build that connection. He’s a fantastic player.”

He added, “The important thing is that all four penalties [this season] were converted, not who takes them. We scored all four, and that’s what matters the most.”
